Has too much time on their hands
Wow , yikes I had no idea and surprised you would have such an opinion mosquito. I knew many people in the mid 1970's and early 1980's that were heavy into punk including myself that wore far worse. Majority of them today would be between 50 & 60 years old today are very well adjusted , have successful careers as well as successful parents.

I will vote, but will not vote for 3 main parties. All three are tools and don’t deserve my vote. Unfortunately, that means my vote has to go to either Green/Communist/Northern Ontario Party
I don't wear bows - I shoot them.

The lyrics were often dark and loud true, but I know lots that still aren't well adjusted too and many that have been divorced, lost jobs etc many times etc. The biggest fan I knew of just that type of music is still serving jail time last I heard. Then look at that kid, the lyrics, piercings/tatooo and the words and the music itself .... I like Thousand Foot Crutch...(example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGpp4o5LYp0 ) but the words and mood of a song have long been shown to affect the mood of the person listening and the hate, anger etc. in a deathmetal group .... well I think he has real issues and just propping him up on display is pathetic and wrong.

There was a Libertarian party candidate on the ballot when I voted this week, there are several reasons I wouldn't vote for them but they would be a much better selection than the Green and Communist... don't know anything bout the Northern Ontario Party.

I understand where you are coming from and I am very familiar with all types of music especially the lyrics given my son and his wife are very involved in the music industry.. I know a few people in the financial industry that make well over $200 grand a year, dress in fine suits, drink the best wine, have beautiful homes and from the outside look like they have it all. In reality they are some of the most self centered, ego maniacs mean spirited , coc heads dysfunctional people you will ever meet.
My point is every industry has a small percentage sometimes more, of people with some serious issues but what they wear is not always an indicator. Does it look like Andrea's son has some issues ? How many of us when we were teenagers rather scrape gum from underneath a chair than hang out with our parents and smile the whole time. Just sayin.
Just read an article on Andrea's son and apparently he is nice all around level headed young man. He doesn't want a whole lot to do do with politics but supports his mother.

Platforms are nebulous thing. We've come to believe a well costed platform means something. The reality i that we rarely see the promises made come to fruition.
I think a better way to look at the parties is less about the specifics of what they are promising and more about the fundamental underpinnings of their political/economic philosophy.
Liberals are heavily on the socialist side. Very Keynsian in their world view. Big government solves all of the problems inside a somewhat capitalistic system. Think Denmark etc or maybe a little left of that.
Conservatives think that individuals are better at producing long term prosperity if government, for the most part, stays out of their way and doesn't act as a weight on momentum.
NDP...welllll. They are old world socialists. The party is founded on the same principals as every other socialist country. I'm not talking about Denmark. NDP believes in the same centralized control that every failed state such as Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Rusia, China etc has been founded on.
On any issue, regardless of what the platform says, you can be sure they each make decisions based on the fundamental view they have of the world.

Good, he looks like a real oddball though, in other pictures I didn't post he has a huge tattoo "Alone" across his stomach and alot more tattoos, I am hopefully wrong then. It would be hard to assume he didn't know how insulting that shirt was and since his mother is a woman I guess I made an assumption... the older pictures show him with the same studs and hair style too so maybe it is how he feels comfortable. Did it say he was working or in school or what?

Well oddly or interestingly Unions are in a business relation ship with Unions through a for profit corporation... no wonder they took the back to work legislation off the table
"what is to stop endless strikes or emptying the public purse".

You have an alternative. You can decline to vote and tell all parties (the big 3 and others) that what you are offering me is not acceptable and you need to do better. If enough of the electorate did that, the parties would be scrambling to get out platforms which would appeal to those people.

I disagree. Good or bad I think kids should never be "used" in a campaign.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

^^^ agree 100%.
Platforms mean nothing. In fact I now find them offensive. Almost like dangling a milk bone in front of a bunch of young dogs. None of them intend to follow through, they know voters will jump up and down asking "where's mine".

No one said used Terry. I think he is 25 years old and fully aware of his actions and would like to think his mother never made him to be involved in the campaign . lol
