You posted this in the other thread. Allow me to add my sentiment than posting internal family squabbles in an attempt to portray a person as less of a leader is sinking very low. Criticize the person's policies, not his family troubles.

Obviously, those who are going bananas over this know very little about.

1) Families
2) Money
3) Estate’s and exucutors

Even fairly tight families are ripped apart by wills and fight over the estates. If anyone is clearly at fault, it’s Rob Ford, for naming his brother executor.

Regardless, while it’s possible Doug did not follow the will verbatim, it’s also possible Robs will wasn’t very clear. He wasn’t the sharpest tack, and that would mean the executor has to decide this or that, and if the family is fighting over money.....

First thing anyone will tell a family, especially when theres lots of money........name an executor thats not part of it.

Please tell me how a Ford family squabble has anything to do with the liberals? This revelation says everything about the character of that family. All of the Ford children have been adversely affected by drugs. Users, sellers ,married to users, shooting family members who are users, and on and on.

It’s also worth noting, especially when the estate is sizeable, the first rule is to name a trustee for the children that is NOT family....Because

1) thousands of families fight over the money, get torn apart, end up in court contesting wills, going after executors, never speak to one another again.

2) The Executor has 1 job, the Trustee (s) another. And that job is to say NO to the chidren. “Uncle Doug, I need $20,000 for a new car....I need $10,000 for a trip to France, I need I need I need.

When the Trustee is a family member it’s harder to say no........and it leads to fights.......

So once again, clearly Rob Fords fault.......

Say what you will about DF, all 3 parties are less than desireable. The NDP plans is Russian roulette but, because the they are the NDP, they want to load the revolver with 4 or 5 bullets. The NDP and the Unions bed partner, and many public servants have bailed on the Liberals for Greener Grass......No differently than many COmpanies have been and are bailing on Canada and Ontario for Greener grass in the US.

Some whine about Brain Drain under Harris, yet are in utter denial about the brain drain thats been going on for years and is getting much worse. 2017 saw a record loss in investment capital. Companies are leaving, refusing to come, or expands here...

Aka jobs for the working class.........

Andrea, the ndp and the Unions like to pretend they are the champions of the working class. So here’s her chance to prove it...What does she do at the first opportunity? Throw billions at an industry that does nothing for an economy, is more parasitic than anything else. Yeah sure they are.....

And wants to raise corporate taxes to pay for it...Giving more companies, more reasons to flee, stay away, refuse to expand

Debt to gdp high enough to make anyone sick. Her plan like RAEs is to ramp up DEBT and shrink GDP.......

At a time when the economy is on thin ice.
Moodys already changed outlook to Negative before the NDP/PC plans

Boomers and the impact on Debt ( +) and the economy aka GDP (-) when they leave . +1 bullet
Housing markets....+1 bullet
Trans Mountain and other energy companies....+1 bullit
Investment capital already fleeing for the US where taxes are lower as is Hydro and no carbon Taxes. +1 bullet

And now a trade war, that can only hurt us..and the economy....aka gdp.

Very good post. As for your last point, I bet most people couldn't even name their riding MPP and believe only what they read from one newspaper. The press is in full force here today trying to make Ford look like a monster. Not many people understand estates, especially from high net worth people with large privately owned companies involved.

When someone is trying to be leader of a province, and they are being sued by family members, for misappropriation of funds, that is important. Unlike what a child is wearing, or I would have brought up the fact his daughter was in the lingerie football league. That would be equal treatment. As for 'my' leader' how so? I have voted for 4 out of the last 5 winning premiers, the only one I did not vote for was Eves. Yes I voted for both Harris and Rae. And Bill Davis . I would have voted for Vic Fedeli or Elliott as well.

An interesting note .... I've seen in several blurbs that Patrick Brown's sister works for or is even a partner in the sister-in-laws law firm I saw, anyone seen anything about that from other sources?

Many of the articles I see I question their facts and angle but it seems likely to be true.
