best spotting scope
I am planning on another WY DIY antelope hunt this year and my 1st back-country DIY mule deer hunt in the next 2-3 yrs. So I am researching what spotting scope for hunting to buy....I've only used$ 400 win-driver before on antelope and it was useless!
Should I buy Leupold HD Gold ring or Vortex HD??

Those are both great scopes. In that price range you are almost in Swarovski territory and might want to consider that as well. Can't really go wrong with any of those choices.

I'm partial to Vortex products. But for a spotting scope, I like Kowa.
