    Default Hunting Gifts for Kids

My family will be visiting relatives in Europe this summer and we want to buy hunting related gifts for the children of some family friends who hunt. I was hoping to get some inspiration on what would make good simple gifts that are easy to pack into luggage for the flight.

We're thinking along the lines of knives and game calls but would love to hear some other potential gift ideas.

    Thanks ahead!

Grohmann Knives in Pictou Nova Scotia would make great gifts. Check their site for seconds at half price. You can get a nice trout and bird knife for $49.00.

My co worker asked the same question. For a birthday gift.
Recommended him binoculars(if the kids are big enough to use them.)
He jumped on the idea, and was the happiest grandpa of two really happy kids.
You can buy some for reasonable price,in Europe they are generally more expensive,or less quality in Canadian price range.........plus opens up a world for them.

I am not sure why but in many European cultures a knife as a gift means cutting the friendship, so knives may not be the best gift. A friend of mine was going to give knives for a gift to the guys in his wedding party, his mother made sure that he sold the guys the knives, a sale is not a problem a knife as a gift is taboo, they are Romanian.

It may be helpful to let us know what kind of game they hunt.

    Probably everything we dream about.

But that is a golden idea.
