    Default Hunting Partner Wanted!

    I'm fairly new to hunting, looking for someone who's an avid hunter during most of the year to go hunting with. I am based out of Base Borden. Interests include;
    Turkey (successful my first solo hunt)
    Bear
    Deer
    Moose
    Waterfowl
    I've only been out this year for turkey. I missed the deer and bear draw but looking to go for a bear in the fall near Sudbury/Killarney area. If anyone's interested in an enthusiastic hunting partner give me a shout!

    Have you joined the BBRGC? I'm a member there and a fairly new hunter. I'd be happy to meet up sometime in the fall and go out hunting on or off base.

    Will you be at the upcoming range day in a week and a half?

    Yes I'll be there as it's the only one for awhile it seems on the calendar. I'd like to try goose and or duck as well as the black bear

    Base borden has rumors of excellent woodcock and grouse hunting but at last as a civilian haven't had a chance to check it out for myself. If you want to try upland with a decent setter or two and can figure out how to get a civilian in give me a shout. Other than Saturday, Monday and Wednesday usually free.

    Sure like to know where they are hiding. I worked on the ranges for the last 10 years and woodcock were almost non existent. Pine chickens on the other hand could be found in particular places, they don't wander too far from their "territory".
