I also kept a slingshot and some small stones handy at the backdoor for raccoons, squirrels etc. etc. more to scare off than to injure. they do get the hint after awhile.

Hard candies are good for that. They shatter on impact and create a big impression on said target. Of course I always had lots of stone, gravel, or things to shot them at..
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

    Sucks.........
Pretty much at that stage now. This woman just moved up here from Toronto last fall. Her hubby/boyfriend is ok, but really out of his comfy zone living the rural life. I've tried to be good next door neighbour. Lent him tools, lent him my wood splitter on occasion, etc, etc. I even taught him how to change propane tanks for his kitchen range? Real live, in the flesh, citiots? But this cat issue has destroyed any friendliness what-so-ever! Sad really?

Cause I don't have the time or patience to make little dried balls of mud, and marbles leave glass shards in the grass.

With mints I can sit on the porch and eat the ammo... how many did you think I planned to shot at the cat.
