Chinook
I was able to hit the river a couple of times with forum member IHunt in search of some salmon. We found some in selected pools that were very skittish. Tried the traditional Roe bags and everything I could toss at them LOL they were just not hitting and had one thing in mind. Thats when I had enough and tried a Vibrax silver and pink inline spinner that I used last year successfully so why not give it a go again. I always say to my self that the salmon that you don't see are the ones that are going to hit, so I listen to my self and boom fish on. I caught this nice hen and (Ihunt) caught one as well. All and All it was a good outing but upset with all the garbage that people are leaving behind. Come on people be good stewards of our sport and pick up your Junk even if its not yours. Good luck to everyone chasing the Nooks

Nice work. Looks like you picked a great day to be out.

Thanks guys. Went out today and couldn't believe what some people will do to catch a salmon not legally from what I witnessed. I had people walk through where I was fishing tripping and splashing more then the salmon it self. Scarring the fish and chasing them up river LOL I could only take so much of that and eventually went home. I guess its expected but its had for it to be excepted from me especially when I give people there space.

That is a nice fish. Too bad we can't all be good stewards and be respectful of others. The outdoors would be so much more enjoyable.
