probably no more than 30 seconds - although felt like an eternity with heart pounding.
for discussion purposes has anyone had experience with dark antlers like this before ? the buck was hung up outside and a day later the antlers are back to a more normal colour.
any guesses as to why they are so dark in the first place ?
