Has too much time on their hands
Boneheaded Blind Blunder
Just a public service announcement for any ground blind hunters.
Mind your muzzle when getting into position for a shot. Sometimes in the excitement of the moment it's easy to forget that what you see in the scope isn't exactly where your muzzle is.

I had a coyote sneak in during a mid day sit before work today and he was moving from my left to right behind some thick stuff. By the time he presented me with a shot I had swung a little too far to the right.
Well... I guess we have to be able to laugh at ourselves sometimes.

LOL, did that myself, with the crossbow! Tough to live down, but definitely a life lesson.

My buddy forgot to stick the barrel of his ML between the zipper opening on my blind and shot right thru the mesh..set it on fire and burned a rather large hole in the screen....HaHa...
Scars of battle...something to remind you of a successful hunt gone by. !!

Opening day for deer abour 10 years ago i hit the hub right below the bottom of my window with the xbow. Blind came down on my head.

Unfortunately I didn't! My guess is the slug didn't fly overly true after going through the blind.

I’ve got three similar hits in my blind, all by new turkey hunters. I always watch that the muzzle is outside now. I’ve had to pull the window edge down on more than a few occasions so more holes aren’t shot through the blind!!
