The Ontario Human Rights Code prohibits age discrimination in: employment, housing accommodation, goods, services and facilities, contracts and membership in trade and vocational associations. ...blah,blah,bah.

Gilroy..This is by far the stupidest thing you have ever wrote. FieldTrip, yes you should, I see no problem with it and it is up to the MODS to do so. As for females and hunting, more power to ya, during my mentoring camps this year I had 6 come out as first time hunters. Last year I had a new, never fired a gun girl come out (Kayla) for duck camp..every time she raised the shotgun..a duck or goose fell from the sky. This forum is dedicated to all pursuits outdoor related and if a new topic is required, then I hope they build it. Start a FB group and post the concept then share on the sites you can. I don't see and have not seen gender in many years, once I got over my typical stereotyping in my 20's. If they wont do it here, like I said start your own FB group.

I am not saying ALL the women involved do not hunt but I would say the majority do not hunt.

I suppose to test the veracity of this claim we could ask the MNR how many female hunters are checked afield each year?

Figure with 6 pages of dudes arguing amongst yourselves, a woman hunter should speak up.

We don't need a woman's category on this forum. I can just imagine the "Well, Actually" guys just hovering over their Quick Reply buttons. No thanks.

Well before I write anything I base it on what I know and have experienced. So to repeat the number of female hunters is already skewed by the tag system allocation,my assertion is backed up by other forum members and studies I have posted.

Simple question for you Q. If the study I posted indicating 30% of female hunters in Alberta are only that in name and only apply to help their spouses/boyfriends in the tag allocation draws,do you not think a similar number might be gaming the system here?

So the number of female hunters in Ontario are then FAKE numbers, period. They do not hunt, they are straw purchasers.

Fantastic fodder for the anti hunting crowd, the fact that you or Jaycee have daughters/friends hunting is very nice and I do not deny there are a number of female hunters, but what is the real number of real female hunters?
Also the fact you are suggesting a female FB group should be started shows how ill informed you really are.The FB female hunters is already in existence and frankly it looks kinda fake as well. All good looking young ladies, posing in matching camo outfits in front of expensive looking lodges?

Anyway we should be flooded by now on this forum with the scores of female hunters telling us all their stories and posting all their pictures.

Perhaps the OFAH can chime in here and let us know how many female hunter members are out there and we will get this settled?

Finding out how many female hunters there are has nothing to do with my original post.
If you want to rant on about tags being obtained from licensed hunters who don't hunt then start another post.
That's "other licensed hunters" not just women, I'm guessing that there are a lot more of those tags supplied by men.
