Just wondering who uses them and what colour pattern do you prefer. Heres a couple that I tied, just experimenting with different combinations and sizes

They were all the rage a few years ago much like the beads are today. I think they're an excellent alternative and I'm sure they catch fish. I like black in clear water and hot pink in off coloured water.

Do you drift them under a float or bottom bounce them. I’ve tried both but loose to many bottom bouncing them .

use 'em under the float. Just don't need too load up the line with split shot. Its the thing too use when something different than the crowd is needed. They get use to seeing the same thing drift by so something different then the rest of the crowd can be the ticket.

Any colour combo you notice works better. I found that pink and blue in darker water works good and more natural colours in clear water like black and purple or olive and black. But I haven't fished them that much to really say .

Can't go wrong with small black or olive green marabou crappie jigs nothing fancy. Granted when I hit the river its probably going to be Wilmot which is the clearest of the rivers river at any occasion.

I use them under a float. Too many lost on the bottom if you bounce. I like them when I know there's fish there but they've declined all the normal offerings.
