    Just throwing this out there.. A stickied thread at the top of small game where people (fratri is mainly who in thinking of) can post step by step full process for preserving hides, people can put in tips and tricks, different ways they do it, ask questions, yadda yadda. Would be really cool and appreciated. Juuuust sayinnnnn

    I'm half-way through the process on a deer. I'm following this guide: https://www.fieldandstream.com/how-to-tan-a-deer-hide

    I tried the brain tan/smoke technique a couple of years ago and it came out stiff as a board (and I spent hours working the hide!). Hoping for better results this time.
