Default Coyotes a good read if you have some time....

A good read....take the time to read the stories of these coyotes...very adaptable and can do quite well living around humans....

Thanks for posting, very interesting to read. Especially #748 surviving after losing part of his leg.

In a short reading I found the site pretty pro coyote. They talk about them being a pack animal, but still a western coyote? and later on hedge their bets whether or not a coyote will kill a chicken? They also try to say that urban coyotes probably are not responsible for taking pets.

I will stick with being dissolutional and keep on believing that these buggers will kill and eat anything they can get their teeth into from mouse up to Alpacas.

You betcha. If you note the accreditations at the bottom,it's quite evident where the "study"mindset is coming from.

I didn't think of it like that at all... I read the interesting stories about...
Each coyotes life in the study.
    How they adapt
    How long they can live
How mange can affect the life of a coyote
    Breeding season
    Gestation period
    Birth amounts
    Home range territory etc.....
All that was pretty cool to read and find out about... just overall a very good read.

I don't deny that it's a good read. All I'm saying is to consider the source.

I should add.....if you keep the political views out of it and just deal with the science/facts about a coyotes life... it's a pretty cool read. Anyway....it's pretty cold and windy out there today.....stay warm...

All in all, it is a good interesting read, thanks for posting.
The episode they mention that was aired on TV, " Meet The Coywolf " I watched and it also was very informative and interesting.

It was a good read and like you Frank was just that, a good read. The one thing I was surprised at was they pretty much mated for life much like geese do. Enjoyed it, thanks for posting it...
