We have seen fields like that from flying over them, but no hogs in the area.
The reason the corn fields looked like that, the marijuana was harvested either by the cops or the growers.

The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

And a lot of guys that dream of a hog hunt get called "mean and dirty" things, and have their social morals questions.

If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I know a guy who farms down near Elora, the damage from deer on his place was extensive, the neighbour refused to let anyone hunt his bush so the population went through the roof and they were smart enough to not come into the fields in day light in the fall. I told him to apply for a permit to remove deer in the summer but he did not bother, he just took the losses.

I do know first hand though how badly coons can mess up a corn field, yes Mike they often just take from the edge but I have seen them take a lot more than that, going quite far into the field, the sign is different from coons than deer, coons seem to be messier than deer.

I wonder how things will change now on how humans screw up crops, when I was a kid we would see helicopters over the crops all the time looking for pot grow ops, walked up on a number of them too over the years but now that you can grow it legally in your garden this may stop.

Deer eat a large variety of foods and often eat the cob tips only . Coons prefer corn and pull it down
    Hogs prefer corn too
