It does not matter what you think, it matters what the other voters think. If you think that this is worse than Harper that is great, but the far left will say this is no big deal and Harper was a baby eater, both of the far leaning people will not be swayed. This is the chance to speak to those near the center and convince them how bad this government is, if they can do that then they will win, if they cannot then they will lose, your opinion will not have any bearing on that, your vote is one vote, you need to convince others to chance their vote.

I somewhat disagree. I do agree that there are numb nuts that don't care and will stick to their side no matter what, but there is that population of undecided people, and that's where our voices count. They will equally be told by liberals that this is no big deal or that this is a witch hunt. Those people need to understand that this is a big deal. It makes the entire nation of Canada a corrupt nation. I lived in South Africa long enough to know how this ultimately ends up.

Doesn't matter how he tries, he won't gain very much traction.

The CBC has the full recording of the phone call between JWR and Michael Wernick, its about 15 minutes and worth every second to listen to; she's clearly telling him to back off and he just keeps coming. The appropriateness of recording the call is up for judgement and clearly she's using language that she knows will make her the hero when the SHTF.
what a group of idiots, the "boiled down" argument from the PMO and Privy Council seems to be " we changed the law to suit SNC-Lavalin and now you have to use it!".....I don't have an issue with the government looking out for Canadian companies if the rest of the world is doing it too, but my question is what intervention did Trudope & Co. provide when the courts or National Energy Board are shooting down pipeline proposals (Energy East, Trans Mountain)....again, it's the picture of a Liberal government pandering to Quebec votes.

There’s no doubt JWR was badgered by persons bent on forcing her to do Trudopes bidding, prior to her recording the conversation. She obviously knew she was dealing with a corrupt bunch, and needed to cover her arse!
