Just buy a new ventless electric dryer.

You mean a clothes line and an electric space heater?
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

They are approved in Canada now. Electric dryer with no vent.

Our Most Efficient Compact Dryer Technology

Our most efficient compact dryer technology uses a ventless heat pump design to take the next step in energy efficiency. It recycles air and captures moisture so you can enjoy a more efficient and perfect drying experience.

Just like a furnace, take the moisture out it lowers the air temp and recycle the air. You just need a drain for the water to go. Gas you will always likely need a vent. Canada does not allow gas ventless fireplaces but the US you can.

    CHEERS!

I have gas everything. Owning a gas company it just seems that's what I am supposed to do. LOL

The flames in our fireplace are blue at the bottom and yellow at the top.

Does the combustion of natural gas always produce CO, or is CO only produced in a low-oxygen environment?

As for people venting dryers into the basement it's all well and good if its electric.... natural gas or propane is a different story .

No this is an older unit, it is exhausted thru a stainless liner in a conventional chimney,

They may have been a woodstove originally installed there before the gas, and converted by a previous owner
