They might be, I heard they have already completed reintroducing genetically modified Dire Wolves. These creatures have been spotted in the Bissett Creek area of Algonquin Park. They appear to be in the weight range of 100 - 150 kg (220- 330 pounds) . Currently there is no season for them but we definitely sleep with one eye open.

If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Hmmm... wonder if these guys will bring back Smilidon Fatalis too? In the world of genetics and DNA anything is possible... Hollywood made a movie about this stuff...[emoji2955][emoji1360][emoji1787]

There are three reasons to own a gun. To protect yourself and your family, to hunt dangerous and delicious animals, and to keep the King of England out of your face.

Always up for a big cat hunt. They say they were bigger then cave lions.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

Just reviewed all 18 pages and I wouldn't want them here but would be willing to hunt them if they showed up.

If they are such a prevalent scourge down South for the ranch owners, I think someone here with contacts and experience, say in Texas or something, should organize an Ontario contingent to convoy down and help them out (for free that is). It sounds like there are enough here with interest.

Don't hold your breath on that "for free bit', that's the problem down there , not just Texas, most want big dollars to hunt on their grounds, unless you have some connections.

From what I understood, most ranchers hire (PAY) hunters to come in to eradicate them...maybe some entrepreneurial types charge Canadians to hunt for them while they are being paid by the owner. HaHa..
