That's a heavy pellet, I use 14.3 and alloys get much lighter. Mine is rated at 800 fps with that pellet or 950fps with alloy, to give you a reference of sort. So cut it in half and up to 75 fps difference.A lighter pellet could easily be over 500fps even if it could used a a single shot. I'd stay far away from that, that's asking for trouble big time.

The velocity is not the only thing that makes it a firearm, you need to be over 500fps and 4.5 ft lbs of muzzle energy, this takes into account all pellet alloys.
