and we already have posted numerous problems that have already occurred and we are not really into the hunt stage.

How you can say no extra effort required and then go on to describe trips to Staples or Office depot to print a copy for a stipend is pretty funny.Do we all have these stores near us ANSWER is NO.Do we all have a library near us answer is NO.Do we all have a Service Ontario near us even offering license sales the answer is NO.

Do you see a pattern developing here, how about just keeping the phone in system and stop trying to re invent the wheel.

If you cannot see the difficulties which the MNR officers are going to face in light of this changes I really am at a loss for words.
What about a friend or a neighbor, possibly even another family member?

What about the gangs of people who hunt together ? You think they wont help to get everyone up to date . Plenty of time to figure something out that wont carry a hefty price tag to get your tags.

Well "old boy", you have the computer( you not getting on here via smoke signals), create your account. Learn how to print to a file. This is the option that will come up if there is no printer for computer to use. Even when you have a printer you can always "PRINT TO FILE" and make a PDF. When you want to buy your tags or license go to the site, go through the steps and then hit the print option. Your computer will list the options for printing,( Print to File) select print to file and print the file to your desktop or somewhere you can find it. Copy the PDF file to a USB stick and take it to staples.

If you buy the timmies I'll even meet you in Mississauga and print them for you.

What a load of B.S. Gilroy...for someone who purports to have post secondary education, I'm perplexed as to why you can't figure out how to get a file printed, it's pathetic. In fact I'll bet if you stop into Meljesnic Computer Solutions or B designed Graphics in Norwood they would be happy to it for you. In fact there is a bevy of stores and services in Norwood that actually own a printer..seriously make an effort.

You like to make up nonsense excuses for situations that anyone with any intelligence can solve with a bit of thought.

And why are you responding to my post, you promised you'd block me so I wouldn't feel the need to point out how ridiculous you sound

Most of his comments are towards others not his own ,just a little of his own . I'm sure he has all the right tools to get it done for himself but is unwilling to try.

As for others who do not have a computer or printer there are plenty of ways to get it done. . You just don't want to leave it to the last minutes to get it done. Don't plan on getting everything on the way to camp, plan ahead and be prepared. Turkey is coming up and most already have their tags and licenses ready to go. Well if your going to leave it for the last minute well then you might have some problems ,don't be that guy and plan ahead.

Gilroy maybe help out someone that can't do it . Get your stuff done learn it and show others how to do it instead of complaining. We have to work together not a single person, I'm sure there are plenty of people willing to help someone out but they need to speak up and get it done.

As snow Walker said I also thought about doing a bunch for a smaller fee than his 5 bucks. [emoji1787] if everyone sticks together and helps out no one should be left without a license or tags. We need to start a hotline snowwalker I'm sure you can't take all the calls without keeping people on hold to get angry [emoji106][emoji6] .

Ps I see where gilroy is going with all this but the deal is done and instead of complaining. Maybe helping others who can't is a good idea.

Fishfood, we don't need to take phone calls. Just have the PDF's emailed with a mailing address, print them off and drop them in the post box. You bill them through PayPal. You can even offer the licenses and tags on regular or waterproof paper. I can even do it well driving around in my truck at work in Canada or the States. Receive emails, print, drop in Stamped addressed Envelope, drop in the post box.

Yeah it is a pretty simple method lol. But then guys like gilroy need to talk to someone to make sure they are real.
My one buddy is like that would rather talk, you send him a text you know he will phone ya right back lol.

We started printing our fishing licenses couple years ago when it started to become a thing. I had an issue this year but it was 1AM Jan 1st lol, I simply drove 30 minutes outta the way in the morning to get it. That was my fault for leaving it to the last minute, if it was the day before things would of been good. Who wants to fix things when your trying to get to sleep and have to be up in 3 hours lol .
We went camping last year my wife most times gets her license in the spring. Last year she did not and you know not a place around to buy a license. Couple of hims and awws oh yea online, within 5 before we went out in the boat she had her license. Its simple she saved it to the phone, printed and signed it immediately as we got home. I will continue to get my fishing license online every year from home on new years eve[emoji6]

bought and printed my turkey tag today. Looks like applying for big game is going to be a lot easier as well. I feel the system worked great. Signing up was the worst part but again no big deal. My only thought is how many people will be printing multiple copies and using their friends or spouses names to apply for tags because technically they don't have to be there. If someone sticks anyones tag on the animal it's legit.... Goes completely against everything that they have been trying to prevent for years.... Now especially moose hunters can stack their numbers to get tags with phantom applicants

    That is not entirely accurate....
You do need to put your tag on animal if it is being transported out of your presence but you/the shooter/license tag owner... will still be required to leave license infor with the person(s) transporting your animal...

My turkey tag states " You may attach the tag to the animal at any time; however you MUST attach the tag if you are not immediately accompanying the animal or immediately available to produce the tag for inspection. The tag must be securely attached to the lower part of a leg." That is word for word off my turkey tag.... How do you interpret that? I shoot turkey put my buddys tag on it and good to go. I get stopped I say he was here but had to go.... done.

no offense Fratri but no way you read the regs before providing your false statement.. You do not need to tag animal in your presence but you Must tag the animal if you are not going to be there... Please read the regs before hunting this season.
