Haven't run into a CO in 10 years now, use to see all the time during deer season. On occasion I have heard they are around opening day of goose and duck. I did run into Ottawa Police last year they only asked to see my PAL I asked if he wanted my hunting license and he said he didn't even know what one looked like, so I guess he didn't hunt.
Matter of fact I didn't realize until after I had given him my Pal it was the old expired one the new one was on the other side of my wallet. He didn't even check the date.

Stay tuned...as they say..
Ive printed many times on "Rite in the Rain" waterproof paper with a laser printed. Works fine. I printed my license summary and bear tags this spring on it with no issues.
Amazon had my order of paper to me in under a week

I was planning more like trying to see how much water it takes to destroy it, or make it unreadable. Not a real problem, till you and everything you have is soaked.
Now someone like "belleriver...something " will say " I walk not swim" when I am hunting, but things happen. Rain, snow, leaky tent, etc.

It's really not an issue while your recovering you game...since you don't have to tag it aymore...the paper can stay safely in your pocket...unless you go swimming across a river with your deer over your shoulders HaHa...

Rite in the Rain can get totally submerged and be dried out fine. It becomes more fragile obviously at that time, but the ink wont run. I use it at work for field notes, and its good stuff, far better then normal paper. It has a saturation point but just rain or snow for a few minutes while you notch it it will be fine. When yours arrives turn your tap and put the paper under it for a few seconds, the water will bead off.
Real world - you pull it out of your pocket to notch and it falls in a pond. You could pick it up and it will be fine.

Rite in the Rain is probably your best bet. We sell that stuff to all the Government Environmental water testing agency's, and they use it all the time. You can also the the Rite in the Rain pen...which can write under water if its raining that bad!!

Well I do mostly waterfowl, so my bear and wolf/coyote licenses and seals have to put up with some water..
I was really planning on testing a printable plastic sheet.
