    Does anyone know if you can fish the pond just south of the small town of damascus?

    I don't think so but could be wrong. I think there is signs saying no trespassing.

    I drive by there quite often and have Never seen anyone fishing...I don’t think you can.

    Used to be able to was a conservation area some one bought it some huge largemouths in there

    Really? someone bought it? If its the same " pond" fished it as a tween back then as had a cousin who owned a farm in the area and spent many a summer day there. Caught a lot of nice large mouth off the berm as swimmers played on the otherside. Than one summer they drew it down to work on the dam and the fishing seemed to collapse. That was some 40 years ago dam time flies.

    This is different than Damacus lake? I fished there all the time when I was a teenager.

    Its still owned by the government i belive. It was closed in the 90's when cuts were made by the government, apparently didnt have funding to maintain it anymore.

    I drive by every weekend (Wellington Rd 16) and a few times have seen people fishing it, parked on side of road and fishing from Dam area.
