Thanks for the caution I know its a different world now a days. So far the public has been kind. Kind of like the attached info as in the past have been accused of photo counterfeiting here at least this way you know they are authentic.
The location was not shown, but that model of Camera does have a GPS maybe. If it was taken with a Smartphone or a Newer Camera you just may have told me were to sit up my next blind...

AT sun up I sat surrounded by some bushes overlooking the back field.I was approx 50 ft from my garage and 100ft kitty corner from my house. They came in shortly after sun up without uttering a sound. In range,I fired thrice harvesting two.One fell on my trampoline, the other on my tin roofed house. All to the disdain of my sleeping wife who came running out side with a "Are you out of your f............mind." I should have let her in on my plans.Boy goose hunting is fun.

Now that's a great story to share....we shoot off our dock too and I get enough grief for that let alone bouncing a bird off the roof....

See if there are pockets of open water back in that tall grass away from the open water in the picture. They don't have to be big, coffee table to kitchen size surrounded by the tall grass and hard to get too.If there is,my guess would be it is a likely spot for a roost.Check it out in the middle of the day, look for feathers.Otherwise,I don't see from the picture any appeal to a duck .I have hundreds of areas like that around. The ones that produce have a food source.pond weed, wild rice, waterchestnuts etc.If adjacent to farm fields it could be a mid day loaf.check it out and good luck.If it is a roost, its got woodies written all over it.

    Here's my story...

Had a great day, got my limit, explained the way I hunt.

Few posts down, guys start criticizing, tell you what you should be doing, how they would do it, bring up ethics, start a debate ect ect ect

I stopped posting years ago, not worth the conversation that follows, everyone is an expert here, you can only do things their way.

I'll stop in and read some posts but have moved on to other forms (non Ontario) where guys with more respect and less ego's participate....

Yup I hear you. Forum has gotten quite sour. Hoped to change the tide with average joe hunt stories. Not focused on limits but having a good time outdoors. It be great if we could get back to focusing on the positive and giving advice only after being asked. I too have been spend more time on another forum.
