Photo: Gerald Butts Meets With Upcoming Debate Moderator
https://www.spencerfernando.com/2019...bate-moderator
Many Canadians are raising concerns about photo that shows Althia Raj meeting with Gerald Butts.
A photo is circulating showing Gerald Butts meeting with Althia Raj, the HuffPost journalist who is also a moderator of the upcoming federal election debate.
Gee what could the Conservative hater that JWR said was trying to interfere with a police investigation have to say to the debate moderator..... the first 2 debates had Trudeau as a no show and he will show up at the one that Butts has met with the moderator ....

Attack on Free Press.
Well we know that one of the Rebel reporters was arrested and they are categorically banned from any Lib event .... (seems they don't like people to know what they actually say, only the medias edited version to me) ... and now in the Washington press
https://www.washingtonpost.com/opini...as-free-press/
The Conservative treatment of David Menzies is comparable in their treatment of the Rebel too.... in the age of the internet wasn't free speech and information supposed to be free flowing .... I cringe at what a LIb gov't will do to edit their "truth" if they get back in... SNC coverup?

Prepare for idiotically huge deficits if the Liebral's win... remember, these numbers assume the economy will do good or atleast stay like it is.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...gain-in-canada
Trudeau Doubles Down on Deficit Spending in Bid to Retain Power
The plan represents a doubling down by Trudeau on deficit spending his team says is needed to stoke growth and provide struggling households, many of them with high levels of personal debt, with help. The prime minister’s critics, however, say the Liberals have been spending too much in good times and aren’t setting enough fiscal ammunition aside for when a recession hits.
Under the Liberal plan, Canada’s deficit would peak at C$27.4 billion next year, bringing it above 1% of GDP for the first time since 2012, before dropping to C$21 billion by 2023. That far exceeds the C$14 billion deficit recorded in 2018. In total, the plan would add an additional C$31.5 billion in deficits and bring the cumulative budget gap over the next four years to C$93 billion.

I thought there was an environmental problem .... seems more like a mental problem to me....
Trudeau defends use of two planes, calls Tory criticism a 'far-right tactic'
https://election.ctvnews.ca/trudeau-...ctic-1.4622257
Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau is defending his campaign's use of two planes and suggesting the Conservative leader's criticism over it is a "far-right tactic."
Tory leader Andrew Scheer says Trudeau is showing hypocrisy on climate change by using two campaign planes -- one for himself and staff, another for cargo.
Trudeau says the Liberals are buying carbon offsets for the campaign.
He says the Conservative attack is a "well-established, far-right tactic" to discredit environmentalists.
HMMMM..... THEY are buying ... bet it is taxpayers, love how the article changes the topic complete....ah the current media.... but it really seems he thinks money fixes pollution and truth is "Far Right" ..... sounds like Leftard think.....

These debates have always been very carefully choreographed events with "canned" questions and very carefully vetted audiences even though security with political "leaders" is a bigger issue, now, than in the past. It's important for the RCMP and CSIS to know who could be close enough for any eventuality however remote. That's not "news",but, what I got a kick out of was Butts overtly meeting with the Moderator of the event. So much for an "unbiased" moderator. Somehow,it's no longer surprising.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

The "canned" and memorized questions are what Trudeau does good on, mostly by an attack with no solid answer, and yet he still skipped the first two debates where one was held without him and the one on foreign policy was cancelled.

The Libs really hate the Rebel though, I mean just look at this one on the attack on the social media... according to Ezra he found only one Paper in the Soo talking about it...

EXCLUSIVE: Ottawa cuts reimbursements for military health care, hospitals on the hook for millions
https://globalnews.ca/news/6007117/m...lth-care-cuts/
The federal government has quietly rolled back what it pays hospitals to take care of military members, according to multiple sources.
Global News has confirmed with sources within the military, provincial and federal governments that Ottawa made major changes this spring to the fees it reimburses to hospitals when they provide health care to military members – and that’s leading to fears some members could be denied health care services.
Under the Canada Health Act and provincial health acts, members of the military are not eligible for public health coverage under provincial plans.
Instead, the federal government is constitutionally responsible for providing comparable medical care to all members, although more advanced medical care like surgery or MRIs is provided at the same hospitals used by civilians.
