    Thumbs up

LOL, you just HAD TO mention snow shoveling didn't you?! My most favourite activity of all - NOT.

Thanks everyone for your comments. It only hurts when I breathe now so I should be fine for all kinds of hunting, like in 2020 maybe!
I will report later on if I manage any outings. Putting things in perspective, it is not a horrible injury, and I have had many worse ones myself before. I worked many physically demanding jobs before and was a very active in Martial Arts, but for the past decade I have been sitting on my butt a lot more than I used to. 60th birthday on the horizon, but I'm still just a kid...

Funny you post this now. I was out Fishing the whirlpool in Niagara a week and a bit ago, and slipped on the trail. Landed on my ribs on top of a protruding tree root. They've been pretty bad since then. I've broken those puppies before and that pain is no joke. Never had the pleasure of sneezing during that time though.

2 weeks ago picking wild grapes I stepped off a 2ft log (thought I was on ground) fell on my side landing on another log hitting the bottom set of ribs. Was real sore for a week, but I was putting heating pad on twice a day and icey hot rubbing cream on 2 a day. Barely even know I did it now.

get better soon, knowing it could have been worse and being thankful it's not is the right attitude....and I think you talked me into skipping some bjj classes until hunting season is over, or at least the rolling/sparring.

Love the pic MikePal. LOL (:~D
We just don't want to give up and that can be really "funny" sometimes!!!

Thanks for checking and I am somewhat better, but still too shy to put a 12 ga. against my shoulder.
Did some cleaning and general work at camp this past weekend and boy was I ever STIFF on Sunday.
Buddy had a short Mossberg pump that we took turns target shooting with it. No shoulder contact, so it was alright, although I am not really a fan of those shorty shotguns.

Will be out for sure in the coming days anyway. Life is too short not to hunt, and what's a little pain, eh?!
