"...a satchel over a chair." That's how female officers keeps their equipment. The article doesn't say where in Sherway Gardens. My guess is she was in a restaurant or bar. Hanging a "purse" (case, bag whatever) over a chair by a shoulder strap is quite common. Lots of stuff is stolen that way. At any rate, someone is going to have a new posting, like traffic control at the corner of walk and don't walk in downtown Boonieville,NWT.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Lots of “supposin’ there Trimmer, but a posting where there’s 10 months of winter, followed by 2 months of poor snowshoein’ is a possibility !!

with the exception of the pension reference,(Woodsman has addressed that ), Snowwalker is not too far off ! No doubt some internal discipline at the very least !!
The only "weasel words" are the ones you neglected in your original post where you left members with the impression nothing would happen to this officer when you know its the exact opposite. Now you have decided to amend your original post to come across more reasonable with your weasel words "No doubt some internal discipline at the very least"

Of course you had to be prompted or shamed into writing this.Consider yourself documented Staff.

Snowwalker is far off and you Sir are not helping.

There's a bit of "deductive reasoning" there that comes from previous experience. There's a lot the article doesn't say, but,it's easy to "read between the lines" as long as the article is reasonably accurate.

Its implied by the fact you did not correct any of the posters misapprehensions about the discipline process police officers face and the fact they could face both criminal and internal discipline. As a former member you should know better and if this is the best thread you can post on a hunting site you must be very bored.IMHO Perhaps your head is still spinning over Justin getting voted in again. LOL

I don't think too many were surprised by the election result. Two things I carried in the pocket of my cap was a card of The Ten Most Wanted and The Serenity Prayer. The latter I still use, especially of late. The former, not so much. Nobody deserves to lose a pension. That's too harsh. For all we know, the officer may have been on duty. We all know anything can happen.
