The Boonies is just an expression,meaning like: The middle of nowhere; nothing but trees and farms for miles around, maybe a house or two.
Describing generally a location far away from "anything reasonable big" place.

Thanks. English is not my native and quite far from good. I expected that 'boonies' is not the real name but thought it might be a jargon expression for a real place.

No, no, it's totally fine. It's really funny and I'm glad that "the boonies" worked as expected. I'm laughing too.

Her place is out in the boonies. The nearest house is 1KM away. I had nothing with me,so,I just grabbed my Grandson's rifle and nailed the first one at about 75'. The second was really bold. I got him at around 40' coming around the corner of the house. Nervy,man.Never seen that before especially after the first shot. His little .22 worked real good at close range.
