Has too much time on their hands
It might take decades to produce a vaccine for the virus....

Some can also have tough side effect, Shingles for example, I was warned the only thing worse than the first shot is the Shingles itself... 3 days of flu like symptoms, feeling tough and tire, 2nd shot wasn't much of a reaction.
MERS has been around for 8 years and there is still no vaccine for example.

Just an FYI

2nd Novel Coronavirus case is the first man's wife.

Coronavirus is a group of different viruses, not just one, Novel or Wuhan seems to be the name tied to this one.

Usually when it's looked at more closely, these cases turn out to have had an underlying condition that they didn't know they had until they got sick with the virus and further complications ensued.
I'm of the opinion (and it's just an opinion), if it's going to be a big one, it will be something so virulent that half the world will be infected before it even has a name. There won't be time to quarantine and administer treatment. The world is actually long overdue for such a thing.
You absolutely have the right idea though, if it looks like the S has HTF, I'll be taking the family as far away from people as I can get.

For healthy people you will get sick and recover in 7-10 days, its the elderly and those with weak immune systems that we need to protect.
The mortality rate on this outbreak is no different than the common FLU.

I got that Shingrix vaccination a while back, took about 8 days for the arm to return to normal.

You're talking about the strain of flu identified by OHIP? That vaccine won't do anything for the Wuhan Flu.

For discussion......
My view is that the petition is not about racism, it’s about protecting the rest of the nation and I don’t think a quarantine is as bad as it may sound. If people want to venture abroad, have at ‘er but be responsible for yourself and your actions.

Thanks God it's happening in China where the government has full power and don't feel bad about using it (closed cities, extend CNY holidays for an extra 9 days, build an hospital in 10 days, and so on...). And even better when citizens trust the government....
Here with our snowflake attitude the virus would spread the entire country in no time the entire world would be screwed. Can you believe we might not quarantine the Canadian we are about to bring back home from China!? If it gets serious our government will not be able to handle it well.

I'm still marveling at the sensationalism of the media and the stupidity of the public, like the dizzy bi*ch that called 911 and was worried she would contact coronavirus because she had chinese food the night before. Honestly, some people's kids..............
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I got sick last Monday. It's been rough. I have not left the house all week.
It's all in the front of my face and forehead. I am sure it's just the common cold but it makes you think. How fast this stuff can spread. My two girls both work in London at the hospitals and my wife works st a old folks home.
If you get sick just stay home...
