LOL We never catch enough fish to even worry about it.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Isn't that the guide that they used to give out at 'Brewers Retail' back in the 70/80s ?

Used to scare the crap out of me with those 'Don't eat more than 1/2 a fish month' and 'Keep away from eating any fish from 'Lake X' if you were of child bearing years ..HaHa..

Can you be more specific TS? We've posted the poll on the Forum, at the start of this thread.

I believe what TS is talking about is all other polls have been right in the thread in this section not a link to a poll in another area (home page). I agree why not just run the poll in this thread? Not really that big of a deal, I did follow link and vote but might get better results just having it included in this thread.
I love fishing but REALLY it is just a way to pass time until hunting season!!!!

Yes, I take guidance from it ... general guidance. The book would benefit though from tests on farmed salmon and trout, which is readily found in our grocery stores. This would really give a good comparison of just "how bad" the lake fish is, relative to the crap that people don't think twice to buy from the grocery store.

    TroutSlayer & duckslayer:
The purpose of the poll on the Forum is to create a dialogue whereas the poll on the main site tallies up the results, which we then publish as a graph in the next issue of the magazine. We are relentlessly thorough in our polling procedures, but perhaps we can keep the poll as a sticky in the future so you all can enjoy it, too.

Exactly. We used to have the actual poll locked at the top of the "Poll" thread. All members could watch the progress without leaving the board.
