I hope moving forward we have an uprising in canada (and the USA) with an emphasis to buy local..
Id rather pay more for oil if its from canada, or more for a set of brake rotors if they're not made in china...
    we shall see
I think there will be no need for uprising-yet will see many Chinese Mfg goods coming back home ,to be made.NA at least.First and foremost strategic items(medications and medical supplies)then likely many Mfg will realize better make them home-because the supply chain complexity is a potential killer.

Made in HOME will mean-WE will be down if WE are down, not some other country overseas..........

With 20% of the world's population living in China and 90% of that population still living in third world conditions that haven't improved in 150 years,it's not surprising that anything ,and I do mean anything, with four legs is food.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Default Consequences for Covid - 19?

An employee at a Petro Canada gas station and Tim Hortons outlet in Brampton has tested positive for COVID-19, according to Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown.

The gas station is located at 11980 Hurontario Street, near Mayfield Road.

In a tweet Sunday morning, Brown urges anyone who visited the location between March 9 and 20 to go into isolation

Yes I seen that video and it made me sick to my stomach. This has to stop but we all know that won't happen anytime soon.

If anything, hopefully the world wakes up and we learn from this pandemic. Things need to change if we are to survive and thrive.

Trimmer , 4 legs? How about 2? 6? 8? ......I do live my lobster. But I agree any protein is good because people need it to survive. Better than dirt.

When you start running out of animals, meat is meat. No different than a coyote or bear here. NA puts dogs on the do not eat list because they think there's something special.

If it ever came down to it, I'm going to eat a whole litter of puppies before starving.

I'm sitting out on a lake right now, below me are two shiners with large chunks of steel sticking through their back.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

    Exactly oaknut.

We being hunters don’t understand why some think eating Bambi is immoral. Most of NA including hunters thinks eating dog or horse is immoral.

    It’s a mad world.

The Chinese “wet” markets are being blamed for a lot. Better food handling is needed for sure. If they want to eat dog...ok, don’t have a problem with that. But better food handling is needed.

    That said.
I don’t know is this gospel yet but I’ve a lot of reports that the virus can survive for an hour or two on cardboard, days on steel/plastic.

How many of you are taking food handling a little more carefully. Dozens of hands are touching your produce, milk/egg cartons, cracker boxes, shrink wrapped meats......

    Food for thought

These people aren't starving though and often put the animal through a slow and tortured death.
