I received an email notice from OFAH regarding this. They will reassess on April 23rd apparently.

Good , even though I am on and island my cottage is surrounded by crown land. If I can't go to my cottage, why the heck should campers get to go camping 500 yards from my dwelling?

I don't understand how the province of Ontario can stop you on Crown Land ,
I was to believe Crown Land was Federal Land ,
Not Provincial.

Judge - Crown Land is Provincial. Trent Severn Waterways are Federal. Most boat launches are technically Municipal Land (roads).

Aw-w-w quit whinin'. There's no law against you going to your cottage, half the province is already there, anyway. That just goes to show that there's millions who aren't buying into the media-driven hysteria and no one will be the worse for it.

Not media hysteria when every single news source (including the un-reliable ones) are reporting the same thing. Stay home and stay safe. Personally, I can wait for warmer weather to camp on crown land.

Just because they are recommending everyone to stay home doesn't make it an offence. Until an official order is made under the law it's still just a recommendation. As for camping on crown land that currently is not allowed under an official order. When that will change remains to be seen.

Trimmer, you beat me to it. Nothing or nobody says you can't go to your cottage or camp. Some people just have to quit spreading BS. It only makes things worse.
