But you support it yourself....why are you talking out of both side of your face..

The Liberals themselves said it was becasue it cost to much...not that it was ineffective..the stats don't support that argument.

Maybe you should sit him down with a bottle of scotch and discuss how they can do that.
I do not drink Scotch and I have no idea if Minister Blair does, but I suspect he does not from past observations. There are scores of arrest's
made at the border every year for illegal guns coming into Canada. But its the largest undefended border basically in the World with a free flow of good's ( Mulroney Free Trade Agreement) .The NRA and their supporters, gun manufacturer's are all in to make money, they care little about death's caused either here or America .

So get back to your musing that we would be better protect if illegal gun owners went to jail...why are you supporting a party that did the exact opposite ?
That's an easy one just read you own post s-----d.

But I think the over-use of them that the Supreme Court has highlighted, by this Conservative government, isn't necessarily doing a service to Canadians, both by not necessarily keeping us that much safer and also wasting large amount of taxpayers dollars on unnecessary court challenges," he told reporters in Oakville.

If that's how you think the world should work that's great . False lies and political games then so be it . The truth is it will never change the violence. .

But if that's how you think we should live in a political game of lies and fake news it's no wonder we cant trust anyone.

Let's stop the gun violence by banning the guns used the least in gun violence. That will sure solve alot wont it. The doctors are fed up from the shootings in Toronto how does this ban exactly help the doctors of Toronto? When the majority of shootings happen with a hand gun.

Show us the stats, show us the years when gun crime was reduced as you allege and then show us how money was saved in Court challenges all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Mandatory sentences would also be given to folk,s that you might consider a pretty law abiding citizen up until they pulled the trigger.

Then rejected the defence’s assertion that Forcillo should not be subjected to the mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison for the attempted murder conviction. But he also said the Crown’s request that the officer spend between eight to 10 years behind bars was “unreasonable
