That is the reader's Digest version.
I'm sure the gun owners who took the time to take this journalist out shooting and were convincing him that gun owners were responsible sportsmen and women really appreciate the dipsh-ts who attacked him on social media.

Good job morons. You turned an ally into an enemy.
He was never an ally of gun owners with an attitude like his. He is un-educated and close minded as far as firearms gos. He does not speak for any gun owners about storage laws because he doesn't even own a firearm. But he does support a PM that commits criminal acts. His words are worth as much as dog s#-t

Does anyone here know of a criminal who gives a crap about what new laws Trudope puts in place?
I don't ... not sure how this will help, they'll just buy their guns another way ... probably in US, and smuggled
across boarder ... oh wait, isn't that how they do it right now anyhow? OK, but what if they get caught with it ... yup,
that will be charge count number 22 on the list of laws they broke ... going to make a huge difference in persuading a
    criminal, NOT!

LOL. This law simply goes to show that the government has NO IDEA how criminals operate ... this is ALL political, and
simply is a waste of our time.

Really what municipalities are going to ban them ?

Can you really see a ban in Toronto?

Even if it they did ban them some would leave to keep their guns, and it wouldn't stop the violence ,barely even slow it down.

Here's another thing Franklin said, "It takes many good deeds to build a good reputation, and only one bad one to lose it."

So for all the effort some gun owners make to reach out to non-gun owners and build acceptance for our sport in the larger community all it takes is a few slobbering fools ranting about "tyranny and dictators" to undo much of our good work.
