Interesting read not supporting the ban from the CBC
I'm surprised it has CBC attached to it since they are such a liberal news network (yes I work out of my truck all day and have CBC radio playing all day for the last 3 years) if anyone has had the chance to listen to to this episode last sunday I was walking around the kitchen yelling at the radio cause of the incompetence of this host and some of the callers. But also some very good points were made.

Yea these paras says it all:
In short, the government is criminalizing some people's property not because it will make anyone safer, but because it can – because it knows that the political benefits far outweigh any loss in popularity among people who were probably not inclined to vote Liberal in the first place.

A healthy democracy relies on citizens believing that they will not be treated unfairly if their side loses an election. We should not be putting that trust at risk. It's not too much to ask that firearms laws be made on the basis of evidence and reason.

The CC provides that OIC’s are not to be used to ban firearms used for hunting or sport shooting. It will be tough for Billy Liar to dispute that, when he has allowed FNs to keep using now prohibited guns to hunt with !!! Time will tell !

I hope so to but if you have almost 2hrs to listen to the link I posted for the show last sunday I'm afraid that alot of ppl are just as badly informed about guns in canada as you village idiot prime minister and his idiot Bill Blair.

I do really hope our judicial system wont fail us this time like it has failed many many ppl before.

And the problem there Rick are click bait headlines.
    Stuff or news of substance?
I bet less than 20% of the population bothers to read it in any topic.

in part, it’s why I’m just going call a spade a spade. I’m done trying to “explain” or use logic. I’m done using stats. I’m done sharing said things. The only people that are going to read such things are those already in the know, or maybe just some of the middle.

the sad truth is, NS can be laid at the feet of everyone that have wasted 20 years..... the Gilroys, the Wendy Cookiers, JT and Blair, and those that have been put to sleep by their Shyte.

It will all come down to how many of the sitting Supreme Court of Canada Justices are Liberal appointees. Once it gets ruled on there that’s it. The imbecilic JT and his equally stupid Blair allowed a very flawed law to be imposed. We can’t do anything about other than push a case to the SCC.

I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

I sure the Conservatives take a hard look at where they need to be to defeat the Liberals and I think this Lady is the ticket.

Conservative Party leadership candidate Dr. Leslyn Lewis...the Liberals worst nightmare:

Dr. Leslyn graduated magna cum laude from the University of Toronto (Trinity College). She obtained a:

    • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall Law School,

    • Master of Environmental Studies (MES) from York University,

    • MBA Concentration in Business and the Environment from the Schulich School of Business,

    • PhD from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University in 2019.[1]

In 2018 she became a Harvard Law School -- Institute of Global Law and Policy global scholar.

She has published peer reviewed articles on the subject of corporate environmentalism and international green energy initiatives.

In 2020 she submitted her name to as a leadership contestant for the Conservative Party of Canada;[17] she is the first visible minority women to ever run for Leader of a major federal Canadian party.
