I find it absolutely mind boggling that so many Canadians don't know the difference between Federal and Provincial politics let alone Canadian and American politics.

So your calling my fiancé, her best friend and at least 4 other women I know stupid Rick? All are highly educated, Professionals including a Doctor.

And maybe it’s you that’s stupid if you don’t recall Scheer having to try hard and distance himself from the alt right that was coming out of the woodwork here...

The concern they and many more have, is that Trumps influence, on such groups will embolden more.

Now, re-read what I typed. Because there wasn’t one statement equates one to the other. And Insinuating women are too stupid to vote. Perhaps they are justified in their concerns?

John, at no time did I mention, sex, race or any other descriptors the Liberals like to accuse detractors of ! If someone doesn’t agree with them, they are sexist, racists etc, etc,...are you insinuating the same ?? Note ....”Anyone” upper case !!!

    We need a “sarcasm” emoji

I said that for a “reason”.

If we, want the cons in power. We need someone that can win (take) 15-20 seats from JT in the GTA.

I know far too many women, that were (are) POd at the liberals/JT. Some really well like the above, and know why the voted NDP. I know a few dozen more women, that won’t vote con, for the same ( my guess they voted Lib)

They couldn’t vote for Scheer. Either due to his Social con values/links. TRump and the Alt right (and seeing signs here). Any or all of the above.

It’s my main holdback from Lewis. Despite being eminently qualified, and female. She is a mirror of Scheer on the abortion/LGBT issues.

Long winded way of saying any Con Leader that’s too close to any of that stuff (including O’Toole who is the furthest right)...we might as well plays craps and roll the dice. If we can’t take those seats. Nothing changes

It’s going to be tough to get those seats, regardless of the leader. We, collectively and individually need to help educate those around us who are unclear of the issues at hand. Can we as a country, afford much more of the corrupt crew we have now ??? I think not !! The next generation will be much worse off, than those that came before them. That....is a given !!

    “Yep”.
    Now add the bans.

So for us, the next year is critical. All the usual crap, plus that. Some even think JT might call a snap. Take advantage of the cons “new” leader.

I don’t see a lot changing with respect to Western Canadian seats. Or northern/central Ontario. Eastern Canada not really affected by Covid. Maybe there’s some hope the Libs lose seats due to finances.

So imo, it’s the GTA. And that means women, minorities etc. Are perhaps the most “available”

Said that last word for a reason to

Yes. Lewis seems to be too hooked on abortion. Wether I agree or not doesn’t matter, I will vote conservative. She needs to get elected and the libs are by far the best campaigners. They turned Howdy Doody Into Gengis Kahn.
Although it would tougher to attack a a) woman b) black woman c) extremely accomplished and educated woman. d) an immigrant woman. If she had been gay she would be acclaimed.

I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.
