    Interesting question.
Most conditions that would make shield wearing difficult would put that person in a category of greater risk for the most adverse outcomes if became infected with covid 19.
One would think that person would be most behind measures designed to limit the spread and risks associated with being in public contact.

I like seeing everyone in masks while I'm shopping for food. I feel like they probably didn't drool, spit, sneeze or cough on my vegetables.

If you are unfortunate enough to end up in the hospital using my taxes (It's all about me remember) make sure you tell them how you feel about masks.
Make sure you have finished speaking before your audience has finished listening.

Since when is someone else's medical information any of your business?

Well, looks like York Region will follow suit as of July 17 (unanimous vote)

It doesn't seem like they will be mandating them for anything else other than indoor public spaces (which I keep my visits to absolute necessities) so hopefully it has the desired outcome. Seems like it will be a minor inconvenience at most.

A question I do have, does anybody have a source for the actual rules in writing outside of the news? Or will this be specific to each establishment?

He raised the issue in the context of justifying why he is not abiding by the bylaw. It's his decision to answer not yours.

True if it's a physical condition but cognitive disorders are among the justifications for not wearing a mask which would include mental illness, emotional insecurity, PTSD, assorted anti-social disorders, etc.

Chronic claustrophobia comes to mind as a damn good reason.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

And his condition is none of your damn business. If he wanted it to be known he would have said. Why you feel the need to ask for personal medical info that is private?

Because he is parading it around as justification to not comply with a public health order. Up to him to answer or not.
