I dont think he ever mentioned he was faking it I could be wrong tho. Just because he said anyone can claim an illnesses doesn't mean he is faking. Maybe he does have one and who are we for him to tell us his problems.
It is what it is the government cant really make us wear them anyway . No one can make me wear something I dont wont to wear it is my body my choice, as with everyone. I choose to wear a face cover do I believe it will protect me nope. You think the alcohol is killing the viruse when I sanitize my hand? Who knows I hope so I'm a heavy smoker my hands are always at my mouth a cant wash them between stores .
When I'm done my running around I will wash my hands accordingly lol. It is what it is just dont come screaming when an establishment or or some place refuses to to serve you they have regulations to follow.
It's not going to hurt me if I wear a mask for 10 or 15 minutes while I shop for my food . So I will but it doesn't mean Johnny next store has to wear it everyone makes their choices and we can't bash them for others choose to do right or wrong.

You are not stopping the virus, you are reducing the spray of the particles that contain the virus. If everyone wore a mask then the particles released through breathing, talking, coughing and sneezing would be reduced, making it more difficult to be inhaled or otherwise picked up by another human being.
Do you disagree with hand washing as a effective way to reduce the flu?

He did say if he didn't have an illness he'd lie about having one. Whether he actually has an illness, physical or otherwise, is beside the point.
Government makes you wear all sorts of things. Seat belts in cars and on airplanes, helmets on a motorcycle, PPE in hazardous workplaces, bicycle helmets and life jackets if you are below a certain age and hunter orange during gun season. No different than requiring you wear a mask while shopping.

If you wish to participate in some activities, safety equipment is required, (mandated). Shopping indoors is now one of those activities that require safety equipment. If you do not want to wear the equipment, then don't participate. Simple.

No seat belt , you only put yourself in harms way. No mask, you put others at risk. See the diff?

Hey I'm not complaining I'll wear a mask lol been doing it since before it was mandatory.
But when you use a seat beat comment because it mandatory, just saying not everyone will follow the rules. Just like not wearing a mask many will simply not wear it .

Simply because people break the rules does not mean there shouldn't be a law in the first place with consequences for not following it. The consequence for those who don't wear a mask out of some distorted view of "freedom" is being denied access to public indoor spaces or having to make up a medical condition to justify their behavior.
