    It's not good!

Just like why our criminals in charge are ignoring the source. I tried to point that out to you in my last post but you confused attention to detail with how well you can stay awake.

If we pay attention to the numbers, we can take away that the lockdown was an excellent primary defense. Now that we are going further into the reopening stages, the odds of people travelling within the province are very high. Those that live in high density areas with high case rates are going to be inclined to visit low density/low case rate areas. You aren’t the problem, they are. By putting out a blanket law, it takes the guesswork out of who should, or shouldn’t be wearing a mask. Our last case was June 16. There have been 9 confirmed since March. But our population also grows exponentially during the summer. Short term rentals and resorts cater to people that don’t have much stake in what happens in our little town. That being said, I don’t think that it’s worth the breath to terrorize some kid working a summer job and earning min wage for a box of milk or a few limes.

Or our corrupt media insinuating that a possible remedy (malaria drug) is poison at the beginning of the fn outbreak because Trump relayed some medical experts early study showing promise.

Notice the media never talk about remedies. They can't even ask those serious question because it will expose their lies.

Are Canadian doctors even prescribing the malaria drug?

Our death rate is double that of the US. Why? It's not from our hospitals being overwhelmed, we know that.

If you're going to point at the US as a reason/excuse to demand masks, don't do it because their cases are going up, do it because we can't control the death rate as well our neighbors.

Good post, and I agree with pretty much all of your reasoning. What doesn't add up for me is we've had cottagers from high risk zones visiting here for 2 months without a mask policy without issue. I agree that IF masks do what we're being told they do (and I don't believe they do), then your post is totally logical.

Again, I think the science on masks is contradictory at best and the mandate to wear masks is more for the feel good aspect of it all than anything else. Same as Tim Horton's employees and delivery drivers wearing gloves, etc. Those gloves are worse than hands if they're not being changed between each coffee or each delivery (and you know they're not), but it makes people feel better to see them. It makes people feel better to see everyone in masks, to the point of shaming those who aren't wearing one. Look at this thread and how upset people are about others who aren't interested in wearing a mask, even though the concept of wearing masks to "protect others" is only weeks old and far from proven effective.

At my workplace, they just made masks mandatory. We've had American truck drivers coming and going (mainly from the epicenter, New York and New Jersey) the entire time. Some of the drivers tested positive and we found out from the trucking companies after they had been at the plant. The truckers weren't wearing masks and the employees who interacted with them weren't either, and we have remained trouble free at our plant. I asked why we were implementing a mask policy now, with nothing but success so far and the response was "all of the other plants have, so we have to get on board".

If you want to point out the selfish, inconsiderate self entitled that would even consider going out to a public space in rough enough shape to be hacking their lungs up. But of course as long they wear a mask it's ok. So what happened with the order to stay home an isolate when your sick during a pandemic?
Funny we are now wearing masks, and the numbers are increasing. Ever wonder why?

There won't be a vaccine. They haven't been successful with any coronavirus so far, so everyone better brace themselves for permanent bylaws on masks.

There are 4 different coronaviruses currently associated with the common cold. No vaccine yet available for those either.

I think I may have posted this in another thread, but,if masks, antibiotics and vaccines could cure a virus, the common cold and all types of well known flu bugs would have been a distant memory decades ago.

Anybody see this police shooting near Haliburton allegedly started with a dispute over masks?
