Going to need to see some facts to back that statement up because I think it's wrong. Don't forget to talk about Atlanta, Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis....all run by democrats.

Just looked this up. It's an older article but relevant to the start of the riots.

I was still talking about the segregation riots of the 50-60's Those were republicans who were rioting in southern states to keep the status quo, of first and second class. citizens.

Snowwalker is right in his previous post. You have that backwards, the KKK was the militant wing of the Democratic party.

When you go back and actually look at it instead of just listening to what the democrats say today, you will find the Democrats were the racists. Take a good look at Woodrow Wilson (D)

My original statement still stands that Liberal and Democrat strongholds are turned into s**tholes because of their policies.

To bring it back around, that's why truckers are getting paid more to deliver to these places because they aren't safe.

I would say that truckers being paid extra didn't come from the goodness of the hearts of their employers concerned with safety. A more likely reason is people refusing to do the work prompting incentive to make it worth the risk.

You are calling the people that marched in the civil rights movement rioters?

The ones that marched and were beaten and shot rioters?

I never meant it to seem other wise.

I did two drops this morning..got two bonuses, and got out of Philadelphia by noon. My second drop was the next block over from where they had been protesting and rioting two weeks ago.

I noticed some may think it was offered and compared it to police, who have no choice in the matter of where they are dispatched as they are under oath to serve and protect. (Maybe they could apply to a different department?)

If enough truckers say no then companies have to do what it takes to stay in business. Good Drivers are hard to find.

I say if they are willing to pay, good on you for being willing to accept.

Facts are only meant to be twisted by liberal trolls. And for as long as it keeps generating responses he will keep it up. I'm a big fan of the ignore button in his case.

How about waive my fishing license fee, my hunting license fee, hell even my truck plate fee? If they cannot afford the $600 to become a Canadian citizen why do we need them in Canada?

Just an update on the extra freight charges...

Taking a load of insulation into Denver.

The building material company is paying a surcharge of $2530.

How much of that do I get?
Let's just say I am buying a welder and chop saw....
