The problem with O'toole is he won't get the swing votes and we need that to win. If he makes Lewis his Deputy he might stand a chance.

Im happy with O toole getting elected. I was pushing for him all along. He seems to be alot more of an ordinary Canadian boy than Mckay who gives me the heebee geebees. Now we need to take down captain silly socks and O toole will give us our guns back and protect gun owners.

She has to be elected, first. Conservatives won't stand for someone without experience being dropped into a riding by parachute. That's a Liberal tactic that doesn't sit well with anyone. She has to pay her dues and earn her bones.

Yea you're right that would be a good combo. He seems pretty close with her so maybe itll happen. He says hes not full on social conservative except with the same sex marriage thing which I don't understand the reasoning behind social conservatism in this day and age, its somewhat of a handicap for a politician. What hes got going for him is that hes a Toronto MP so hopefully he can claw back some of the liberal presence there. Born in Quebec so maybe hell pull in some of the bloc or liberals. Hes going to win the west no matter what happens thats a given.

Sheer was born and raised in Ottawa. Dropped into Saskatchewan riding to run against NDP. He’s wife is from that area. Kelly Leitch, from Manitoba, dropped in to Simcoe Grey. Freeland was living in NY when she ran for the Toronto riding she holds. It isn’t only a “Liberal tactic”.
As for the winner, at least it’s clear that the Conservative party picked a Conservative. I look forward to hearing more of what they stand for. All I’ve heard for the last few months is what they stand against.
I thought Sheers last speech was terrible. Blaming others cause he couldn’t close the deal in the last election.

Like a lot of others, O'Toole was my first vote and Lewis my second. Very happy. I've met Erin a few times and I think he is true to the way he talks.

Sure does....if they're Liberals. That's how we got the current PM.

Yeah in our riding you used to hear about the protest of the local Liberal's candidate being replaced by some young woman of India decent that was dropped in from Mississauga (where the one before the current one lived) etc. local Liberal's were silenced or just gave up trying to have a say and went sheep it seems. They even got someone with the same first name, the Ruby in there now replacing the Ruby that was there before since Ruby1 was known for her entitlements and beating her maid. It was kind of pathetic, Ruby 1 setup a press conference, all kinds off elections signs and at the last minute ended up putting tape over the "elect" part and dropping out ... leaving it to the Ruby 2 uncontested.

Why wouldn't O'Toole pick Caroline Mulroney for his 2IC?
