nice run today
Got out for a run today as the family gathering was nix. Woodcock numbers haven't increased yet and the ones remaining played hard to get. Did manage to connect with the first grouse of the season.

Well done. Beautiful picture.

going to pass on tomorrow as have Tuesday off too. Always hated travelling on the thanksgiving Monday as traffic comming home was always hellish. Don't think much if any have started moving south yet.
May look to the north west for a change of scenery, any thought?

Yeah I figure there won’t be too much action, but unfortunately I’m an upland junkie, and can’t help myself from going lol.

Yeah I’m pretty sure if you go a bit further north it should be decent ... I’m
thinking at least a couple hours north or so. Anyway, they will be down soon enough I’m sure .
