This pic is from my tree stand in Coe Hill and was my first sit last year. I love that feeling - first hunt of the season20191102_171418.jpg

I will not post picture of my preferred deer stand-i have them at least six. Have about 10 trees with hanging tree stands or prepared for climber or prepared for saddle, Few super nice looking spots for ground sitting.
Nice spots sometimes do not deliver-but i also tend not to use same stand very often..........so some may would-if i would be there.
However ,few of my favoutire spots are:

PICTURE IT:end of October til mid Novemeber, somewhere in the middle of a mixed forest, surrounded mostly with evergreens peppepred with maple, aspen or ash, sun shining with some pinch, mild wind blowing leaves of evergreens, swaying smaller branches-the air is full of swush-swush sounds, with the unreplaceable scent of rotting leaves, yellowing grass and diminishing bushes mixed with the unmistakable scent of spruce or pine/the autumn is in the air !
Lungs are filled with nature, eyes staring down onto the wild........and there is a high hope of a deer may come by.

More times not, then yes...........I do love other spots or December hunting as well, but those are my favorite spots, and the best time of the year.
