My property is a doe haven all year long last five days we have 6 different bucks this is just blowing my mind. Seen one buck in velvet that’s it. Right now bucks are coming out at 5:22 almost set watch by them. Buddy seen 10 point last night 80yd out but he said it was a monster
I got small 7 point tonight We hunted every night it wasn’t raining and not a single dry night yet. Just need to get deer in closer if it was gun season we would have been done after half hour great action this year even to night coming back from taking deer to butcher I had 5 deer standing in my driveway 10:30. But 30 ft from a blind. Crazy year turkeys all over place. Thinking sugar is ok!!

I let this Doe walk last night took some heat for from buddies that’s ok

    Yeah I was smoking att

I’m the exact same. Lots of doe most I’ve ever had. Finally at mid night last night a giant 8 point showed up on camera. Hopefully this is the start of some good pre and rut action. Tomorrow should be probably best day of season considering extremely warm today and dropping right down for Saturday morning.

Deer activity in certain areas will change with the seasons. Some food sources go offline, and trees lose their leaves in the fall. It makes sense that deer make seasonal adjustments to their feeding and travel patterns:

This is the first year I have left my cameras out all year, so the first time I see any activity outside of the season. Late Dec early Jan was my last picture of a deer, began to get pictures again around May but then the Raspberry cane grew in way too much (a whole lot more than I expected) and choked off my cameras, to the point the odd deer I did get they were right up tight against it. Things are starting to heat up, was last out there two weeks ago, at that time there were no scrapes but the cameras showed lots of deer moving through the area. Will not be able to check them again until I get out next week, hoping it keeps up and the cooler weather should start getting them going.

To the OP question- if any spot gets hot ONLY in pre-rut and rut? and nothing else happens any other time there.........., and if any experience with it!?

I do not have that kind of experience,- totally another subject is the weather /seasonal changes and /or food availability changes.

You have does, they will come.Othervise just banking on pre rut and rut location is dicey.....My 2 cents
