You are right we barely escaped the swine flu .
A confirmed case in Canada the first in 15 years. Only 27 cases world wide since 2005.

Justin Trudeau just said they see the light at the end of the tunnel. We just have to wait a few more months till spring. Then there will be a vaccine available that they say is 90 % effective.
How can they be so sure of this vaccine with such a high success ? Yet our annual flu is like 60 to 70 percent effective and how many years have they worked on the annual strain?
I've heard of covid 19 mutating 3 times already . It has been around awhile already pretty much a year and the first early cases were in mid November. The most recent is the mink farms spread to 5 country's and that it has changed and could be bad for a vaccine.
So how can they be so sure to promise next summer will be ok [emoji6].

Considering Canada is last on the list with this company for there drug it is unlikely we will receive it in the Spring and if we do it will be very limited supply.
The company will only have a few million before Christmas and then hopes to gear up next Spring. A realistic time frame would be late 2021 for a small part of the population and most people it will most likely be 2022. Trudeau really has no idea about anything.

I think they said they have an order of 10 million if approved from the company. Problem is it's very temperature sensitive from the first batch.

Yes but we are last in line behind all other countries. We are on the list.

But he made it sound so promising [emoji1787]
That's why we ordered a half billion vaccines from various different sources lol.
But even at 10 million for Canada in the spring, that will go to first responders , health care workers , the elderly and the indigenous communities.
Not so much for general population .
Good luck on the rest of your hunt gw

Canada was last to sign a deal with every company. He was hoping for the Chinese vaccination which we helped pay for and the Chinese decided they did not want to give us the formula. Which is why he signed contracts with these companies. Canada is last on each list. I think we signed with 4 companies.
Trudeau is not exactly the smartest person nor are those who elected him and live in la la land. Just like some people actually believe budgets balance themselves.
When you sign up last your last. This is why Trudeau was telling other countries they need to share and nobody listened to him. Partially because the real world knows that Trudeau isn't very smart and is a complete joke.

I will guarantee you Trudeau thinks it's funny that hundreds of Billions he wasted before the Pandemic, Even the Liberals on here think it is funny to waste taxpayers money.

Did you see the smile from the finance minister when she said what our debt was .
Bigs smiles without any worries is she even qualified for the job they just sorta flipped her there lol.
Justins spending during a pandemic still needs to be accounted and monitored. It's proven money doesn't make happiness
He can't just toss it everywhere because we are in a pandemic. Stop with the excuses let's get serious now . .
