Has too much time on their hands
The interest on that will be horrendous and the number there probably reflects the fact that Justlied et al haven't put out a budget to show the full disaster for this and the next 3 generations that they have screwed. Highest unemployment, worst economy etc.... no budget, lies and billions spent and they can't track half of it and the infrastructure bank in 3 years and $35,000,000,000 apparently hasn't finished a project... probably lots of expense reports finished though!

Butts was in on Ontario's fiscal catastrophe and now Canada's .... hope they try him for treason someday.

mosquito,
The Prime Minister meet yesterday with the Provincial leaders and they all needed more money for the Covid problem's. He is going to give them that money, what would you have him do ? Sure we have a big debt but so does all the other G7 countries, we are ALL IN THIS TOGETHER its basically like a war, support each other, encourage each other.
When Justin Trudeau has to be judged at the next election the chips will fall where they will fall.
The opposition parties need to offer REAL alternatives for Canadians not attack ad's.

The 100 Billion Trudeau blew during the good times before Covid would probably be nice to have right now.
The Liberals literally just through money out the door for fun.
In all honesty Trudeau should have to put that money back

When you cant make the payment on your house, the bank takes it away. When you cant make the payment on your country... does the bank "own" it?
Bank Of Canada. We the people own that bank. So we will repossess it from ourselves.

I don't care about my neighbor's debt. Just like I don't care about the house next to me debt's. Do you compare your debt to your neighbor?

Isn't Ontario's debt per capita pretty much higher than any US State, maybe other than California?

Well it helps you put things into perspective.Having that knowledge might not change your perspective but would change mine.
