No I answered , that theories in science must be proven over and over. One Dr's thesis or opinion does not make it relevant to real science. Without proof I am as likely to believe we are a computer simulation, as we are a plaything of some deity. Could a computer or AI. run everything? If it was AI. is it the original one? Would you consider a machine that controls everything worthy of worship, and to be called god? Star Trek stuff.

You said the universe was created by Science ... what science? Besides, science in itself doesn't create anything, it is the study of the natural world.

It's no more than a belief ... and at best can be dismissed, as you dismiss the reality of a Creator.

I pray whatever your going through ... whatever is blocking you from seeing atheism is not a lack of belief, but a belief in its own right ... to help you open up to the reality of a Creator ... I pray that will go away.

Nonsense. You are down to asking, 'what science', your to far gone . You have is your faith, nothing more. Have a good life, cause that's all we can prove, we have. Save your prayers for your fellow believers, because they are the one that believe it works. Although once again, there is no proof.

The guidelines are out we will be following the color coded phases. The phases will be dependent on the weekly numbers to act accordingly. Do we need a shut down already ?

Justin Trudeau is tossing Ontario and Alberta under the bus already saying we need to act before it's to late . What is he doing about it ? The same thing Trump did that everyone is flaking him for .

There is a difference tho Trump didn't bash anyone for choosing to stay open.

Is it to early for a shut down ? In my region York region 3 deaths in the last 24 hours from covid out 1.1 million people is it really time ?

Ford is doing a great job and our leader shouldn't be pointing fingers at one another for the choice they make .

Does ford have to worry about telling the community to shut down? Nope they set out guide lines [emoji23]. As you see Toronto and peel will be going into a full lockdown when the numbers are within a certain number. It's slowly rising up to those numbers.

I'll still pray for you, it really does work. By the way, I'm a chemical engineer ... probably much closer to science than you'll ever be ...

Yup prayer must work, I found my keys. Funny how the deity does not hear the prayers from, or for the millions of starving children. Or the girl being raped, praying for it to stop.

Not to beleaguer this, as one learns early on in life not to use logic to discuss religion to someone who is pious, but I do like this response by Stephen Fry when asked his opinion about a 'God'...very well put. !!

While I understand (at least i think i do) what you are trying to say here and agree with what i think you are trying to say - this statement as you have phrased it is wrong. You non-science background is showing. Pretty sure i explained this to you once before.

Science/Scientists do not ever prove anything - that is the realm of mathematicians. Science tests and based on the results of the tests (experiments) the theory is improved, revised, discarded or supported and a better approximation of what is actually true is formed. No matter how many tests/experiments support a theory it is only ever our best approximation of what we think is going on. Proof implies perfection and while in many cases the practical differences between proved and probable may be irrelevant in real life circumstances the distinction where science is concerned is important - if something were proved we would never need to further investigate/test it.
The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

I agree sure I was off a little bit. Why cannot god be proven? And NO it never has been. If a theory has no basis it is discarded.
