Lots of reasons for wearing a mask, there are also some for not.....Anyway, never liked the idea of judging all by the actions of some....
A legitimate mental or physical condition that precludes wearing a mask is one thing it's quite another to refuse out of some ill-defined anti-government principle, conspiracy theory or related lunacy.
Someone who would "put his life down" for his country should not be troubled by the minor inconvenience of wearing a mask when in an indoor public place to protect his fellow Canadians.

I found this at the beginning of the pandemic . You would never know the difference other than it was uploaded months before our coronavirus pandemic.

They have to do something i guess if not we will see 2 or 3 more shutdowns by next summer.
If we lock down now we be in another before spring. Maybe 6 or 7 lock downs and we might be able to open more [emoji23][emoji6].

Who are you to determine someone's reason for not wearing a mask...you are the ones I watch out for, as you, and your misguided sense of 'my life's worth' is the problem with society today. Who are you to determine anyone's outcome, who are you to decide how I live, cut my lawn, raise my kids. It is people like who are the problem with free men today, somehow, you think you can run others lives better then they can themselves.
I don't wear a mask, I can't - for my own issues. Even if could, I would not...you see because I believe in myself, and my right to live as I see fit. Somehow, you think a person on TV can tell you what to do. When the fact of the matter is, you have been conditioned to fear, and when you start living in fear - then you stop living. I bet with your attitude, you would have turned in Anne Frank in WWII, but always remember:
The people hiding Anne Frank - were breaking the law.
The people who killed her - Were following the law.
If your fear psychosis is such as - risk to- family situation is such - then stay home, apply for CERB, order your groceries online, sit glued to the TV and await your next instruction.
Me I will live free - respecting others while out - by staying 6ft away - washing my hands.
I have taken on some serious people in my service and lived - you are the only person that scares me most - compliant slaves. That minor inconvenience you speak of, is just double speak for comply with my will. You sir, are frightening, and I am glad I am not your neighbor.

I'm part of the society in which you live that tells you how to live your life when your conduct negatively affects my life and everyone else's.
It's quite clear you frighten easily. During your so-called "service" we can conclude you're idea of a "serious" person is a rear-echelon typist or supply clerk.
With your pompous, self-absorbed attitude I'm glad you're not my neighbour too. No wonder Ottawa is one of the hot spots along with Toronto and Peel that are causing the problems for the rest of the province where people are more sensible.

Exactly. And who would rather not have the person passing you in the supermarket aisle following the established protocols that help prevent the spread of a potentially deadly virus?

Ottawa is doing better than many other places .
Even compared to york region Ottawa is doing 50 percent better. .
Can't bash them for cases as they have been on a decline. It will be a while before they are shutdown [emoji6].
Mask's are no different than anything else in the world, people will refuse to wear them just like many other things people do that you do not like. It's how the world operates we are all different and will do different things we all have our own ways .

Given enough time, being in public without a mask, will be viewed as if you were lighting a cigarette in an elevator. Who doesn't remember those days? Smoke so thick in bars you could not see, and bands did not need fog machines. Gentlemen that was not so long ago. Things change , especially with the health movement of recent decades. In some buildings and group settings , masks are here to stay.

No, you are espousing edicts which further enforce your fears. You don't own my life and neither does the government. They might own yours, but not mine. Did you actually read what wrote. Who is society, and what conforms do you wish to impose of your ideal of society? Butt hurt, god no, however, I will always point out hypocrisy in what people perceive as a right to exist based on a social construct that you deem true.
How about, I tell you:..you cannot wear a mask, I forbid you too. I am the authority, you must comply with my edicts, your grass can only 4" tall, you can only drive 12 cylinder vehicle, you must wear brown pants and brown shirts, you must only wear the clothes I tell, shop where I tell you, go only where I approve. This is the kind of authority you wish for, it is what you support, and you think you have rights... to enforce on someone else.
I suspect, you are one of the cowards who wants to defund police, and supports many alt left causes. Clearly your writing is exposing your true beliefs in wanting more control over your life and mine. The good thing about me, I support your rights to do so, and I encourage it. Because free people should be open to opposing views and debate...clearly you are not.
Please turn off TV and go outside...
