Default Cabelas MT050 parka and bibs

Good sale going next week on the Cabelas MT050 parka and bibs.

Just wondering if any members out there own these and how have they performed?

I am too far from Barrie to try them on so I am trying to decide what size to order on-line.
I'm 5,7" and weigh 165lbs average build with a 32" to 34' waist. Looks like the Medium is what I should order but sometimes med are like a small and large is like an XL. lol

Any real world info you can provide would be appreciated. I would hate to have to send them back for an exchange!

I got this outfit last year and wore for the 2019 hunt. Am very impressed with it. The design, material, zippers and especially the inside material.
We are near the same size. I am 5'7", 175-180 lbs and 34-35" waist.
I have the Large coat and bibs.

Bibs are just right for the fit but long in the legs. I was going to use velcro straps this year, was going to lift the bottoms above my ankles and then run the strap around so they don't slide under my heal. For me, it would be nice if bib legs were about 3 inches shorter.

The coat is good fit, slightly loose so I can still layer if needed. My regular size is Large, medium in some work clothes.
If I am standing normal, a medium would be a better fit in the Cabelas MT050. However when I lift arms up to shoulder gun medium suits would tighten up in arms and across back and front zipper would pull into my throat. With Large I can lift arms to shoulder gun and still feels great, suit doesn't restrict me.

Sounds like a medium would be a perfect fit for you.
I am right on the border if a medium or large is better.
Comfort in the shooting position gave me the very slight push to a large.

For you, go with Medium, you will appreciate the purchase when you use it.

I ended up ordering a large and it was huge on me.
Bibs were loose and about 3 inches too long with no adjustable snap closure around the ankles.
Parka was way too big as well.

All sent back to Cabelas for a refund.

I will keep using my Cabelas instinct waterfowl gear for deer/coyote hunting... lol

    Back it went!

That’s too bad. Sucks to buy clothing without trying it on first. I just ordered a pair of winter Baffin boots from Cabelas. After reading the reviews, everyone said to order one size bigger. Fingers crossed. Lol

I just ordered a pair from Cabela's too. I have a pair of Baffins now and they say size 12 and yes there area 12. Baffin is a Canadian Company so a 12 is a 12...it's the Chinese crap you have to add a size to.

Having said that fingers crossed too

Not sure about that. I have a pair of Baffin Titans and every pair of boots i own are size 9.5 or 10 except the Baffins i needed a size 11. This was last year about this time of year - lucky i was in the store and able to try on multiple sizes.
