It sounds harsh, but I agree. These highly populated cities need a complete shut down to at least slow the rate of infection.

Thing is we need everyone to shutdown not this small part we are all essential not just what they think is essential.

Go for a drive around any location that is under a grey lockdown. Tell me what you see then you will see why this small business stuff is not going to solve the problem.

Get prepared and shut it down . If there are 5 grocery store in you town shut 3 down

Keeping things open only enticing the people to go out . If 5 of the 7 gas stations are closed people will stay home .

Then again it need to be globally done.

So packing 5,000 shoppers into 3 stores instead of 5 solves what ??? ...sardines with dirty cloth masks standing shoulder to shoulder...

Didn't see 5000 shoppers in China shopping did you? LoL

We gotta be stricked or nothing serious or not . If the government ain't serious who are we expected to be ?

No busses no work no traffic no drive thru's.

    Emergencies only

Never mind this half way stuff

But this is definitely not the time best time for good hard lockdown is when the virus is less susceptible . Like may or June .

So I asked in the past when all this sh** started what your plans are for the next two weeks... just keep thinking that, two weeks at a time, make plans .... that and Laura Secord Liquor in a hot tea will help. Maybe make some 5 and 10 year plans too... do you want a new degree, take courses, become a pilot, wood worker, gun smith, get lean and fit, build a CVA rifle kit, build your own fishing rods or lures.....

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Not necessarily punishment. I see it as protection. If the city gets locked down which it is, city dwellers will head further outside the gta for their shopping fix. It will be a domino effect. I think it’s more for protection, keep the urban people far from spreading to rural areas.

And what's stopping people from leaving the city ? They had a parade today nothing stopping it .

If it's going to be the same as we have now or even the beginning it's not much of a lockdown. Rds are still busy and were the entire first time. It only worked the first time because we had passed the season .

If the same restrictions are in place all of Ontario it won't stop the spread . To many still working to stop it when it's closing in on its peak.
