Has too much time on their hands
Considering teachers are at home while others are working to make that possible. Many healthcare workers still working, not sure what make teachers so special?
Sadly the We Charity is a prime example how trudeau puts his pride aside to facilitate a charity. So much so he had no problem taking 400,000.00 from a children's charity to fill his families pockets.
No sense posting how I feel about that, as stealing from children is about as sad as it gets...

As to the JT, wasn't this a charity initiative? You're making fun of a man who put his pride aside to facilitate charitable donations? Here's what I think about that:

I am making fun of an imbecile that is a liar, a fake and incompetent and given what we see with his taking money from charities for speaking fees, ethics violations and coverups and WE scandal etc. I would say a narcissistic corrupt politician doing a strip tease. It is sad to think that people are so mentally and morally vacuous as to support this government or worse actual accomplices in the disaster Canada is heading for.

CBC got a 50% pay increase and is making well over $100,000,000 A MONTH now that the Liberals are there... of course it reads like he is the messiah. When he got caught taking money from charities it was pathetic, if you saw all of what he said and what CBC said Justlied said they were very different actually. Careful editing and telling people what to think are CBC's specialties.

Agreed, funny the teachers they bring up as hard working are usually the new ones that are teaching new courses, while the ones I know that have taught it a few times are higher up the pay scale, work almost no prep time except in their spare period etc., have huge benefits and pensions and extreme amount of vacation and seem generally more interested in pay and time off than the children. I am really glad I put our kids in a private school for a couple years, the teachers there were actually interested in teaching the children, two average students suddenly were honours students when they went back in the public system and continued that through high school.
Let's not forget the fact that Justlied Trudeau while taking an MP's salary was also TAKING $20,000+ from charities to speak there, a dedicated narcissist that one!

The same can be said of so many careers.

It sure has redefined what we, as a society, look at as an 'essential' service'...

I know 5 teachers.
Each is dedicated. One is very right wing.
For whatever reasons, maybe their unions and McGuinty they have been placed on pedestals. But often are the target of “vitriol” thanks to their unions.
Work hard.
Yep, most do. But thanks to those pedestals too many think they are unique and special. Forgetting that all professionals work hard, some by law have to do CE and PD to keep their credentials. Often don’t get another penny for it. Most all work off hours, have yellow grass and more.
To put in some kind of perspective relative to today’s realities. As one friend said Christmas Eve when lockdowns were announced
“At least they can feed their kids”

All I'm saying is, way to go for the low-hanging fruit.
While we're at it, do we have to keep quoting George Orwell? This is 2021. Here are some dystopian novelists I'd sooner recommend: Hugh Howey, Margaret Atwood (The Blind Assassin won the Booker back in 2000), and Jeff VanderMeer. Get you some modern speculative fiction into you.
Some of you are not acting as a teaching assistant while working at home during a pandemic as their Kindergartener undergoes english, math, and gym class in the background, and it shows. It's easy to be dismissive of something you're so removed from, but the struggle is real, folks. Also, teachers are still teaching/mothering their own clans at home.

I bet only the WE charity will be the ONLY ones capable of planting these trees.
I know there’s a scam hidden there somewhere!

As one of the few admitted Liberals on this forum I think you can all trust me to plant these trees. Send the cheque in the mail.
When you complain I didn't plant the full amount, I will personally do a recount for you and that will cost you another 2 billion. LOL
