From my research most of the long term nursing homes in Ontario are owned by companies with direct ties to Conservatives, on their boards and so forth Mike Harris being up and center, I posted about this several weeks ago.

My SIL worked for one of these homes in Orangeville a private home, the management rationed everything, even protective equipment provided to them by the Province, they tried to save money to run up their profits, shameful ,shocking business.
